Despite its name, this Pinoy pancit dish has no noodles, just wonton-like dumplings in place of the noodles. It is a soup dish served as a snack or as an appetizer yet to be lunch or dinner. Use my recipe for homemade wonton wrappers (see Footnote).

The ingredient of Pancit Molo (Filipino Wonton Soup)

  1. 1u2009u00bd pounds field pork
  2. 1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  3. 1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  4. salt and ring black pepper to taste
  5. 1 (16 ounce) package wonton wrappers, or as needed
  6. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  7. 1 onion, chopped
  8. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  9. 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded
  10. 1u2009u00bc quarts chicken broth
  11. 1 small head bok choy, cut into bite-sized pieces
  12. 2 green onions, chopped

The instruction how to make Pancit Molo (Filipino Wonton Soup)

  1. fusion pork, shrimp, water chestnuts, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl. Reserve 1/3 of the filling union for the soup. Wrap very nearly 1 tablespoon of the unshakable filling in a wonton wrapper. Repeat until all of the filling is used up.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. mount up onion and garlic; saute until onion is translucent, just about 5 minutes. mix up in the chicken and the reserved filling. mixture combination well. go to chicken broth; season when salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Drop the filled wontons into the soup one by one. Boil until wontons float to the top, 3 to 5 minutes. ensue bok choy; boil until tender, very nearly 2 minute more. titivate enhance like green onions.
